Chad Johnson to miss tonight’s game for oversleeping?
The Cincinnati Bengals will be playing the Pittsburgh Steelers tonight but without Chad Johnson, their controversial wide receiver. According to this website, which in turn is referencing Bengals writer Mark Curette, Chad Ochocinco, aka Chad Johnson, overslept for a team meeting, for which the punishment is a one-game suspension. Chad Johnson, who plays with the number ’85′, changed his name to OchoCinco, spanish for ’85′ last year, but for endorsement purposes still plays with ‘C. Johnson’ on his jersey. More here.
The Bengals aren’t talking publicly about it. Another account describes the incident that led to Chad’s suspension completely differently, saying Chad was groggy in a meeting and left the meeting in an act of defiance. You can read that account here.
