The E.K Blessing company was founded in 1906 by Emil Karl Blessing. In 1940, the present Blessing factory was erected at its West Beardsley Avenue location in Elkhart, Indiana. E.K. Blessing was known for his artistry in crafting valves, and in the 1940’s, during the Big Band era, the Blessing name was well known by some of the musicians of the day. Big Band luminaries such as Muggsy Spanier, Bob Crosby, Horace Heidt, Ted Lewis and others endorsed Blessing trumpets and cornets. The E.K. Blessing Company Inc. is a family owned business, ran today by Emil Karl Blessing’s great grandson, Mr. Randy Johnson.

Blessings are one of our favorite American made trumpets. This used reconditioned and relacquered Blessing Scholastic trumpet is an ideal trumpet for a beginning trumpet student. Although several years old, this is a reconditioned and relacquered trumpet that looks good and plays correctly with nice tone and intonation.
