Crone Trumpet Sales is owned and operated by an experienced trumpet player who played in the Massillon Tiger Swing Band under its originator, trumpet player, and director George Bird. Crone Trumpet Sales was founded in March of 1999 with the goal of providing beginning and intermediate school band members with good used trumpets at a reasonable cost (under $400) as an alternative to new student trumpets in the $800-$1000 range.

We feature new and reconditioned trumpets for sale. Reconditioned used trumpets make great student trumpets for beginners and intermediate students. Since reconditioned horns are used, some dings and blemishes may remain even after reconditioning, but none that affect playing ability or tone, or detract from the overall appearance of the horn.

We are members of NAPBIRT – the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians, and we get involved with other members to share best practices and techniques through discussions, seminars, and training. Excellent playing quality is always paramount at Crone Trumpet.

All trumpets offered for sale have been thoroughly gone over and serviced by a professional repair technician before being listed and everything necessary to put the trumpet in excellent playing condition has been done. In addition, a 45-day warranty is provided on all our trumpets; however, good playing condition is very dependent on the correct use, care, and handling of the trumpet by the user. Therefore, when a trumpet is not cared for correctly its playing condition and especially valve action can decline very rapidly.

Money Back Guarantee: If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your trumpet purchase please contact Crone Trumpet within 10 days of your receipt of the trumpet. You may contact us by email, or by phone during our normal working hours (10 AM to 6 PM Eastern Standard Time). We will discuss your trumpet purchase with you and normally agree to refund your money after the trumpet has been returned. You must ship the trumpet, case, and mouthpiece back to us within 7 days. The trumpet, mouthpiece, and case must be received by us in the same condition that we shipped them to you. Once we receive the trumpet, case, and mouthpiece and verify that there are no signs of wear, dents, or scratches incurred during your possession of the instrument, Crone Trumpet will issue you a full refund of the purchase price (shipping costs are not refundable), or credit your purchase price toward a different trumpet.

Limited Warranty: After the 10-day trial period, Crone Trumpet will repair the trumpet and replace defective parts, when defects occur within 45 days from the date of purchase. The following parts are covered: Valve stems, valve caps, valve pistons, valve springs, valve guides, slides, water keys, and water key corks. Trumpet lacquer and/or defects in finish are not covered by this warranty. Trumpet cases are not covered by this warranty. Repairs not made by Crone Trumpet are not covered by this warranty. Shipping costs to return the trumpet to us for repair are the responsibility of the trumpet owner.
