You’ve been replaced – Toyota’s Trumpet Playing Robot
The day may soon come when the best trumpeter is not a man at all. This is not synthesized or sampled, Toyota has gone beyond synthesized music, and developed a robot that actually plays a trumpet.
Toyota developed robotic lips and fingers to actually play a standard trumpet as a demonstration of the robot’s and Toyota’s capabilities. Toyota also has a robot that plays a Violin. I’ve not been able to determine what brand of horn the Toyota trumpeter prefers.
