The Vincent Bach Corporation was acquired by The Selmer Company in 1961, when Vincent Bach retired. Bach trumpets continue to be made with same blueprints and techniques as the originals.

The top-of-the-line model is the Bach Stradivarius, which is an excellent trumpet, but beyond the needs and budget of the student trumpeter.

For those who want a fine silver trumpet that is very close to a Bach Stradivarius, we recommend an older, reconditioned Bach Omega. These trumpets are no longer manufactured but share many components with the Stradivarius.
