Bach Union in Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb

  • What if you went on strike and nobody noticed?
  • What if the company you were striking was able to carry on without you?
  • What if the company you were striking hired ‘scabs’ who worked for less and in the end would be allowed to vote to decertify the union?
  • What if the company was facing significant pressure from lower priced Chinese goods and labor?
  • What if you struck for 40 months and lost?

Years ago the now defunct F.E. Olds company, expanded its production and moved its operation from LA to Fullerton, CA. A decline in quality was perceived, and today collectors refer to ‘Fullerton Olds’ vs. ‘LA Olds’.
